Daniel J. Dailey
HORNELL -- Daniel J.
"Dan" Dailey, 49, of Clifton Springs, formerly of Hornell, died
Monday evening (April 14, 2003) at Clifton Springs Hospital &
Clinic, following a long illness.
Born in Anchorage,
Alaska, on March 2, 1954, he was the son of Thomas "Paul" and
Patricia (Moylan) Dailey.
Dan grew up in the
Hornell area, where he had been a communicant of St. Ann's Church.
He was a graduate of Hornell High School (class of 1972), and later
graduated from Monroe Community College. He resided in the Rochester
area for many years, where he was employed at several companies
including ITECK Corporation and 3-M Corporation. He had resided in
Clifton Springs for the past two years.
Survivors include two
sons, Peter J. Dailey and Daniel P. Dailey, both of Rochester; his
parents, Thomas "Paul" and Patricia Dailey of Hornell; his former
wife, Suzanne Dailey of Huntersville, N.C.; four brothers, David
(Patty) Dailey of Wolcott, Timothy Dailey of Brockport, Dennis (Sue)
Dailey of Hornell and Jeffrey (Diane) Dailey of Hornell; five
sisters, Linda (Karl) Haynes of Hornell, Teresa (Joseph) Hall of
Hornell, Carol (Steve) Freeland of Hornell, Patricia (Bradley)
Spicer of Hornell and Diana (Dirk) Huussen of Greece, N.Y.; his
girlfriend, Debra Thornton of Clifton Springs; several aunts,
uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass was held
at St. Ann's Church.
